You can book an aura portrait at the Soulshine Studio in Frederick, Maryland, or catch us at one of our pop-ups across DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida. We release our pop-up schedule at the beginning of each month on Instagram (@soulshineaura), with appointments going live on our booking page at the same time.

Single aura portrait sessions start at $60.00, and our Yours, Mine & Ours duo sessions start at $130.

That is totally up to you! Wear whatever makes you feel most like you! color won’t change your reading, though darker clothing like black can make your aura appear to sit closer to your body in the final image.

Book an aura photo session in our Frederick, Maryland studio when we host an open studio day. We also pop up regularly across Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia & Florida.

We currently own and operate 3 Aura Cam 6000 cameras, 2 based in the DMV and 1 in Florida.

We will gladly travel outside of these 4 states to provide aura photography for corporate events, brand activations, trade shows and more. Please submit an event request and we can provide you with a quote.

Absolutely. We usually photograph one or two people at a time. Depending on our setup we can capture small groups of up to five. Please note that that only the energy of the people touching the hand sensors will appear in the photo.

Every single session includes one printed aura photo. Our ‘Yours, Mine & Ours’ duo session includes three photos— one of each person and one of you and that person together. The duo session is perfect for best friends, partners, spouses, or a parent and child.

All pop-up and appointment bookings are final — we’re unable to offer refunds or reschedules for any reason. We deeply respect your time and energy, and we ask that you respect ours too.

We only allow children to be photographed if they are 4 years of age or older. Little kids are squirmy and to properly capture your energy you must be able to place your hands on our silver bio-feedback sensors for upwards of 20 seconds and hold still. Lots of movement will alter the quality of the photo and we want to make sure you get the best shot!

We can photograph you with your pet. We do not currently own the hand plates for pets, but stay tuned for updates as we would love to be able to capture your fur baby’s energy in the near future.

Yes! Aura photography is completely safe for women at any stage of pregnancy. A lot of moms-to-be get photographed with their bump and after once the baby is born to see how their energy shifts. Also, can you talk about how an aura photo pregnancy announcement is the coolest thing ever? :)

We usually welcome walk-ins at our pop-ups, but pre-registered appointments always take priority. To guarantee your spot, pre-register online before the event.

All studio sessions in our Frederick, MD studio require an appointment.

The frequency at which you come for an aura portrait and reading is up to you! It depends on how you’re feeling, but we generally say come back when there has been a shift in your energy that you want to see.
