Aura Photography for Weddings

Picture cocktail hour. The bar's open, the music's soft, and in the corner there's a small line of people glowing — literally — as they hold up little Polaroids of their own light. Your maid of honor and her plus-one lean in to compare colors. Your uncle, who said he wasn't doing "the aura thing," is now very into the aura thing.

‍ ‍

That's a wedding aura photography station. Part entertainment, part keepsake, part the most talked-about detail of your whole day — and every guest leaves holding theirs.

‍ ‍

If you're looking for a wedding experience that isn't the same photo booth everyone's already seen, this is it.

‍ ‍

What Aura Photography Is

‍ ‍

Aura photography uses gentle hand sensors to read the energy your body radiates, then translates it into color — a glowing halo of light around your portrait. Place your hands down, hold still for a breath, and out comes a one-of-a-kind print, with a personalized reading of what your colors mean.

‍ ‍

No two auras are alike. That's the part guests fall in love with — it feels less like a gimmick and more like being seen.

‍ ‍

Why Couples Are Booking It

‍ ‍

It's a favor people actually keep. Most wedding favors get left on the table. An aura Polaroid goes home, goes on the fridge, becomes a tiny memory of your day that your guests genuinely treasure.

‍ ‍

It's entertainment that runs itself. Between the ceremony and the first dance, there are quiet stretches where guests are just… waiting. An aura station fills them — a destination people drift toward, a reason to mingle, a moment of delight that doesn't need a DJ announcement.

‍ ‍

It gets everyone talking. The reading is a built-in icebreaker. Tables that didn't know each other are suddenly comparing whether they're more pink or more turquoise. It loosens a room better than an open bar (well — alongside the open bar).

‍ ‍

It's beautiful content. Glowing, holographic, impossibly shareable. Your hashtag fills with your guests' auras, and your day lives on in everyone's stories.

‍ ‍

The Couple's Aura — Two Souls, One Frame

‍ ‍

Here's the one we love most for weddings.

‍ ‍

Our setup can capture two people at once — which means you and your partner can sit for a single portrait and watch your two energies blend into one frame. It's the kind of keepsake that means something: your auras, side by side, on the day you became a we.

‍ ‍

We hear it again and again — couples frame theirs. Violet and magenta swirling together, or pink meeting blue, or a quiet wash of white. Whatever your colors do that day, it's yours, captured in real film.

‍ ‍

The Keepsake, on Real Film

‍ ‍

Every aura comes out as an Instax Wide print — real film, developing right there in your guest's hands. It's warm and tactile, the kind of photograph you hold rather than scroll past. That little moment of watching the color appear is part of the magic, and the print that comes out of it is something people keep for years.

‍ ‍

We can tuck each one into a custom holder with your names and date — a favor and a memory in one.

‍ ‍

Where It Fits in Your Wedding Day

‍ ‍

Couples place us a few different ways:

‍ ‍

  • Cocktail hour:The sweet spot. It gives guests something enchanting to do while you're off taking portraits.

  • The reception lounge: A glowing corner people return to all night.

  • A late-night moment: A second-wind surprise when the dance floor needs a breather.

‍ ‍

We're flexible, low-footprint, and easy to fold into your timeline — your planner will love how little we need.
